Takk for alt, Minister
«It’s very sad to be leaving Lyn. I have such fond memories working in the club and with the players, staff and admin staff are people I care about deeply. Playing a small part in how the team and some of the players have developed has given me immense pride. When you consider the situation the club was in before arriving (a relegation play-off), how the following two years panned out have been beyond what I imagined when signing for Lyn.
Some memories that will live long with me are:
1. The first Rosenborg win away at Lerkendal. Not just the win, but how the whole team contributed towards Kamilla’s goal was a wonderful way to win.
2. Finishing in the top four with Lyn 2 last season, after the summer we just went on a winning rampage and the environment was so positive post summer. It was such an important achievement for the club and we achieved it by playing so many young talents (as Lyn is known for!).
3. Probably some recency bias in this one. Despite it being a loss in the end, I was so proud of the girls in the Semi Final vs VIF. The way they played in the first half gave me an enormous feeling of pride and the emotional roller coaster of the football that follows… that’s what football is about for me! I feel I need a different challenge going forward and that’s my decision for stepping away. I wish the club all the success in the future and will for sure be following how the team does for years to come.»
